Calabretta is a traditional Etna producer working with old vines on the slopes of Mount Etna in northeastern Sicily. The estate's vineyards range from 300 to 900 meters and are planted in volcanic ash, sand, and lava rock soils that provide excellent drainage and distinctive mineral character.

Calabretta's rare white wine is made mostly from old-vine Carricante, with some Minella Bianca contributing acidity. It is aged in a combination of tank and neutral wood, producing a textured, savory white with freshness, grip, and notable complexity.
