Tasting Notes

Aromas of bright cherry, raspberry, crunchy plum, spice, and ferrous minerality lead the nose. The palate is light, fresh, and gently structured, with lively acidity, broad tannins, and a savory mineral finish.

Wine Details / Description

Domaine Tissot's DD Rouge is a tribute to Stéphane Tissot's father, André, and reflects an older Jura tradition of blending the region's red grape varieties. The wine is made from Poulsard, Trousseau, and Pinot Noir, sourced from biodynamic vineyards in Arbois.

The 2023 DD Rouge comes from 35-year-old vines grown between 250 and 450 meters on Triassic clay and limestone soils. It is spontaneously fermented with native yeasts and aged briefly in very old barrels, preserving freshness and transparent fruit.
