Eleni and Edouard Vocoret are among the latest producers you should know in Chablis (Not to be confused with Vocoret & Fils, overseen by Edouard's father). Thanks to their family, this young couple has inherited some incredible parcels. Bas de Chapelot is just below 1er Cru Montée de Tonnerre.

Eleni was formerly the assistant winemaker for Vincent Dauvissat, and the Vocoret wines are made in a similar vein. Along with pristine fruit, salinity, and bright acidity, a distinct seashell minerality is the calling card here, and élevage in old oak barrels gives the wines a soft luminescence.
