"From a north-facing Pinot Noir vineyard in Chavot-Courcourt planted in 1983, where 1.5 meters of clay rest above limestone, Laherte’s 2020 Blanc de Noirs Les Rouges Maisons was matured for 18 months in oak with minimal lees stirring, then disgorged in November 2024 with two grams per liter dosage. Entirely from the 2020 vintage, it presents aromas of pear, orange zest and pastry mingling with hints of nutmeg. The palate is medium- to full-bodied, textural and vibrant, with bright acidity and a long, chalky finish. Despite extended élevage, it retains freshness and balance."
