Viognier can be a bad word to some folks, but the Condrieu appellation is its own category. Andre Perret's "Chery" bottling single-handedly changed my tune on the variety. Imagine white Burgundy texture and saltiness, but with a little dose of white peach. This proves what Condrieu is capable of in the best hands!
