Located in the picturesque village of Celles-sur-Ource in the Côte des Bar, husband and wife team Etienne and Anne Sandrin began producing their own wine from the family's 10 hectare vineyard in 2006, and have slowly been converting the vineyard to organic and biodynamic since. A Travers Celles is composed of 80% pinot noir and 20% pinot blanc and receives no dosage, a signature of the couple's minimalist winemaking style.
