"Medium red. Subtly complex aromas of cherry, earth and smoke, lifted b y a violet top note. Sweet, pliant and soil-inflected; rich, dense and chewy. This shows terrific grip and energy, and shows little sign of the bottling, which took place in April. Very long, building finish features a note of red licorice and a repeating floral element."
