Tasting Notes

Aromas of red cherry, wild strawberry, raspberry, rose, forest floor, spice, and coastal herbs lead the nose. The palate is elegant and energetic, with fine tannins, bright acidity, and a long, mineral-driven finish.

Wine Details / Description

Hirsch Vineyards has farmed and made wine on the True Sonoma Coast for more than 40 years. The San Andreas Fault lies just half a mile from the vineyard and strongly shapes the estate's farming and winemaking approach.

The vineyard spans 72 acres divided into 67 individual farming blocks, reflecting dramatic variations in soil, aspect, elevation, and microclimate. Each block is farmed, harvested, and vinified separately, allowing the San Andreas Fault Estate Pinot Noir to express the complexity of this singular coastal site.
