When it comes to the great hill of Hermitage, there is Jean-Louis Chave, and then there's everyone else. Made of 85% Marsanne and 15% Roussanne, Chave's Hermitage Blanc comes from several parcels on this legendary slope towering over the Rhône River. As a grape variety, Marsanne's acid levels are relatively low, yet it ages brilliantly decade after decade.
