We take seriously the challenge of crafting a noteworthy village-level wine from the Sta. Rita Hills. This has meant relying more and more on vines from our own Domaine de la Côte estate vineyards. With the 2020 vintage, the percentage of estate grown
fruit reached a high watermark of 94%, with the balance coming from the esteemed
Rinconada Vineyard.
This wine brims with lifted aromatics of bright red fruits, black tea, sous bois, and an
undercurrent of nori. The palate boasts all the natural concentration of the vintage with subtle tannins that are already well integrated and resolved.
