The lieu-dit Les Grands Gouttes sits at the southern edge of Meursault on border with Puligny, just a few hundred meters below the Premier Cru vineyard Les Charmes. It generally has a lighter, racier profile.
Fruit is handpicked, direct pressed, and cold settled over two days. Fermentation begins spontaneously with native yeasts, followed by malolactic fermentation in barrel. The wine is racked into steel tanks for blending and rests for one month before filtration and bottling.
