Rooted in sensibilities more commonly found in Burgundy, the wines of Chateau Le Puy have finesse, dead-serious focus, and drinkability that are worlds apart from the stylistic norm in Bordeaux. This rosé of Merlot is produced by running off juice from one of the vats during fermentation, a practice known as “la saignée.”
