"A newer wine from Julian, named for the capacity of the single, traditional Mosel Fuder in which it was spontaneously fermented then raised on the lees." - Importer, Vom Boden
John Gilman, View From The Cellar #56: " This is a classic “dry” 2014er from Julien, with 10.5 percent alcohol and fourteen grams per liter of residual sugar to balance the eight grams per liter of acidity. The wine hails entirely from younger vines in the Goldtröpfchen (twenty-two years of age) and offers up a really lovely nose of white peach, tangerine, a touch of wild yeasts, slate and a floral topnote. On the palate the wine is medium-full, bright and nicely filigreed, with lovely focus and balance, a wide open attack, a good core, ripe acids and a long, classy finish."
