Gérard Boulay farms the famed Kimmeridgian limestone slopes of Chavignol, home to the most age-worthy and mineral-driven wines of Sancerre. He produces under 200 cases of this rosé of Pinot Noir from old vines located in a more clay-dominant parcel.

The soil here works perfectly with Pinot Noir lending some weight and a rounder texture that complements the mouth watering minerality. 2014 has proved to be nothing short of an outstanding vintage in the Loire Valley. As delicious as this is today, it has the fruit and structure to age for years to come.
