We are so thrilled to have the opportunity to work with the wines of Pierre Boisson. Alonside his father, Bernard, he farms plots in villages throughout the Côte de Beaune. The Auxey-Duresses 1er Cru Pinot Noir shows a structure and chisel to it that is quite different from the Boisson's other reds. Several Premier Cru vineyards are the source here of fruit here coming from steeper slopes where minerality and structure creates a wine built to last in the cellar. Similar to the Monthelie bottling, this shows off the same register of high-toned red fruits and intense rose pedal floral qualities. We highly recommend giving this some air before drinking at this point, whether in the decanter or by opening the bottle several hours before consuming.
