"This is slightly more elegant with a ripe and well-layered nose that combines an array of various red berries that include cherry, raspberry and currant that is topped by a menthol note. There is good richness to the refined and pure middle weight flavors that possess good concentration before culminating in a sappy extract rich and tension-filled finish. This beauty possesses impressively fine-grained tannins and there is excellent length on the balanced finale that makes it clear that this is still on the way up. (Drink starting 2015)"

"Vivid red. Raspberry, blackberry, dried rose and spicecake on the nose, with a subtle underbrush note emerging with aeration. Silky on entry, then chewier in the mid-palate, displaying sweet black raspberry and cherry flavors accented by cinnamon and anise. More serious than the Temperance Hill and Zenith bottlings but not closed down. Finishes on a resounding note of sweet red berries, with excellent clarity and length."
