"In 1960, Lucian Aviet, now known to everyone who loves Jura reds as "Bacchus", established the domaine. He remains very involved, but the reigns are gradually being assumed by his son, Vincent. Comprised of just 6ha total the vineyards are tended "Traditionalist" or "Lutte Raisonnée".


The production is entirely hand-harvested and all grapes are de-stemmed. Spontaneous fermentations occurs in large, well-maintained old Alsace Foudres. Bottles have always been sealed with wax. " - Importer Note
