2019 Guilhem et Jean-Hugues Goisot Chablis Faucertaine
All wines stored at 55° and 70% humidity
From vines planted in 1976 by Marie Goisot’s father, 2015 was the inaugural vintage from this half hectare vineyard for the Goisot family. The soils are clay and limestone. Fermented in stainless steel tank and aged in neutral oak barrels, the wine shows racy mineral and slight herbal notes in the nose while it fleshes out a bit on the palate. The finish is crisp and tense which shows the ability to age gracefully.
